Jared’s Law –
Turning Grief into Action

In 2016, I lost my son- Jared, in a tragic accident. Despite the challenges of fighting for justice in a system that often favors the “good old boy network,” I worked tirelessly to pass Jared’s Law in Sullivan County. This law ensures accountability and safety, honoring Jared’s memory and helping others avoid similar pain.

In the midst of my grief, I turned to my business and my skills to heal. I’ve hosted cut-a-thons to help grieving parents cover funeral costs and used my platform to support others in their darkest moments. Serenity’s Touch isn’t just a salon—it’s a place of healing, hope, and community.
